Job Description

Looking for a dynamic sales professional to be responsible for the digital sales product for KSHB-TV, the NBC Action News station. 

1. Responsible for oversight of digital sales products including but not limited to online and mobile initiatives.

2. Develop Internet revenues from both traditional and non-traditional advertisers.

3. Strategic implementation and training for all new digital products.

4. Work hand-in-hand with the Sales staff in developing strategies to achieve team and individual all online and mobile budgets

5. Work with Sales staff to create web based content that is sellable.

6. Call on national and local Internet advertising customers to identify opportunities, qualify prospects, and work through the stages of the sales cycle to close accounts.

7. Work with Sales Managers and Sales staff to provide web-advertising opportunities for current and future broadcast customers.

8. Develop business plan to meet and exceed digital sales goals.

9. Perform other duties as needed, and as directed by the General Sales Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred

EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years internet/media sales experience preferred.

EQUIPMENT: PC proficiency and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Knowledge of Wide Orbit a plus.

SKILLS /ABILITIES: Must be able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Knowledge of Internet advertising, research, standard ad sizes, various advertiser products and creative ad development process.

Must have proven ability to succeed with minimal supervision in a fast-paced high-growth sales environment.

Must possess effective presentation skills, good people skills and excellent verbal communication skills with a dynamic phone presence. Possess ability to lead, motivate and manage sales staff. 

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Must have a valid driver's license with no more than for (4) points in the past 36 months, in accordance with station policy, and proof of insurability (must carry liability limits o $100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident/$50,000property).

Personal transportation is required.
